BRUTAL IS LOVE

If love is so certainly proved in the act of letting go, then what exactly does holding on stand to prove? The contradiction of character and belief is so prominent in this case because we are so capricious to allow the river of flowing words to rattle our common moral of never giving up. If two beloveds were to let go in order to prove love but waited in equilibrium, all that would be proved is a facade of weak love.
To let loose is not the same as to let go. We let loose in order to allow our-self to be pulled in by the brutal currents of love's ocean so that our soul may once again heal with the tide of rising belief. But we let go when we no longer want to be pulled in, we let go when we our souls can no longer bear to be ripped apart by the forces of nature, we let go when when our hearts would rather be grazed by the coarse touch of the black blizzard rather than the artful but misleading stroke of love.
Love is beautiful. Love is cruel. But love, love is never in equilibrium.
